According to the requirements of the Resolutions No.09 & 10-2009 of the Ecuadorian National Quality Council, a "Certificate of Product Conformity" (CoC) must be submitted as a necessary document when an importer is applying to INEN for customs clearance of the related products.
Products exported to Ecuador are subject to pre-shipment inspection, after which the CoC will be issued. Without the CoC, the products will not be released by the customs after reaching the Ecuadorian destination port.
As a product conformity certification body recognized by the Ecuadorian Government, CVC enables full services of testing, inspection and CoC issuance for the products exported to Ecuador. The goods meeting the Ecuadorian technical and regulatory requirements will be awarded the CoC for customs clearance.
Product conformity certification of Ecuador covers safety and/or energy efficiency requirements specified in national (INEN) or international standards, to be tested with local civil power (220V ~ 60Hz, single phase).
